Taking the top spot this weekend Mickey 17 grosses £2,132,080 from 740 screens, the widest opening weekend of the year so far. This is good enough for the 7th best opening of the year, and it's weekend gross accounted for 28% of the top 15.

Elsewhere, Bridget Jones: Mad about the boy crosses the £40m mark, now with £40,398,810. Just £1.2m away from out-grossing the 2001's original.
